Certain changes are happening for the new 2018 Audi Q7. The Q7 is known as the specialty of hybrid in Audi’s name, and with the success of the beautifully artistically made Q5, the German company seems to get a boost of confidence. They decide that the new model for the 2018 line should be set in motion. Not to mention that they are going to make some significant improvements for the SUV which is designed for the sake of the style and also functionality – and not to forget, the performance too. Rumor had it that the Q7 should be ready in the middle of 2017 and introduced during Detroit Motor Show in January. With the lighter weight and a better fuel economy system, it is expected that this new ride will be more promising and appealing.
2018 Audi Q7 Changes
It is pretty apparent that the exterior side will represent most of the changes happening to the Q7. First of all, the company has decided that they are going to use aluminum as the primary material and it will affect the weight of the ride. In fact, they are hoping to reduce the weight of 2018 Audi Q7 up to 700 pounds for improved weight and performance.
Besides the weight, improvements on the exterior will be more enhanced. The new grille will look great, along with the slender air intake. It is said that the new Q7 will be able to accommodate seven people, which means that more significant improvements are made for the interior cabin.
2018 Audi Q7 Interior
Aside from the fact that the company is improving the style and the outside look, they are tweaking the inside cabin and add some features for the increased comfort. For this new 2018 Audi Q7, there are going to be heated seats for the front row and possibly the others. Not to mention that there is going to be a sunroof, better control, and also a better entertainment system with Bose speaker. Audi has planned that different trims should come with various results too, so this should be exciting. They are planning Premium as the basic standard, the higher Premium Plus, and then the Prestige.
Since Audi has designed to reduce the weight to increase speed and functionality, the company is figuring out how to come with a better control system that will help to tame down the ride. Sure, the car may have a better stability and stance, but it won’t matter if the supporting elements are working together.

There is also another option with the V8 diesel 4.0-liter engine that is producing 435 hp of power. For the hybrid power, the DC 7-kW motor will be included along with the 48 volts of the Li-ion battery. This 2018 Audi Q7 will also be coming with Quattro four-wheel driving system and manual eight-speed transmission.
