The 2018 Honda CR-Z is another sporty line from Honda with some improved features. Besides the aggressive appearance, the ride will have a mighty roar and engine too. You can be sure that this sporty coupe will have a promising performance with a stylish design. After all, you do want to have a ride that has the proper combination of all, don’t you?
2018 Honda CR-Z plans
The rendering for this 2018 Honda CR-Z has already available, and it is pretty nice to say that you can expect a lot of good things from it. The front design will be taken from the NSX while the rear will take the cue from the Civic Type-R. The new CR-Z will be wider and longer when compared to the previous or the current models. But the best news of all is the fact that the CR-Z will have a top-notch performance that matches the sporty coupe design.
2018 Honda CR-Z Engine
This model will be coming with the same engine as the Type-R, but there will be some tweaks for it. Honda is planning the four cylinders V-Tec turbocharged 2.0-liter unit that will deliver 280 hp of power. When such engine is installed in the Type-R, the output will be 306 hp of power. For this CR-Z, the engine will be paired with the handbook six-speed gearbox – there is probably no possibility of the auto transmission. However, there is a possibility that this line will have the hybrid line. If there is, Honda will be using the i-DCD 1.5-liter electric motor complete with the batteries that can produce 200 hp of power along with auto eight-speed gearbox.
2018 Honda CR-Z Exterior and Interior
For the exterior, the combination of Acura NSX and Civic Type-R turns out to be quite good, and it affects performance and speed too. Not only the new 2018 Honda CR-Z will be pleasing to the eye, but dynamic and performance will also get the needed updates.
Although Honda hasn’t said much about the interior cabin, it is a sure thing that updates will be happening too. Comfortable ambiance is a definite thing. Center console will be improved to deliver an easier access, and the seats should be ergonomic. Technologies and features like satellite navigation, touchscreen display screen, entertainment system, and much more will be included in the cabin.
The sporty coupe should be available around early 2018. Although the company hasn’t said anything about the price, the expected tag for this 2018 Honda CR-Z is around $30,000.
